This watch was born in response to fans who asked for more water resistance and a diving bezel on the classic Tsuyosa.
The case is round, 40 mm in diameter and 12.5 mm thick, with polished and brushed finishes, a unidirectional 120-click bezel with a sky blue aluminum insert, and a protected crown at the 4 o'clock position. The case back is transparent, a traditional nod to automatic watches.
Weighing 150 grams, it offers a solid presence.
It features a sky blue sunray dial with applied indices and wide hands with luminescent treatment, as well as a Cyclops magnifier over the date.
The stainless steel bracelet is integrated into the case, with a micro-adjustment system but maintaining the classic Tsuyosa aesthetic, in a model with a more diver-style cut.

What is the difference between the Tsuyosa Shore and the classic Tsuyosa?

The main difference is water resistance. While the classic Tsuyosa has 5 ATM (splash resistance), the Shore increases this to 10 ATM (100 meters), allowing swimming and snorkeling with greater safety. It also features a unidirectional rotating bezel with 120 clicks and a blue aluminum insert, along with a lollipop seconds hand—a typical diver format—a nautical-inspired detail that previous models did not have.

How does the unidirectional bezel work?

The unidirectional 120-click bezel rotates only counterclockwise, a safety feature designed for diving: if accidentally bumped, it can only reduce the recorded dive time, never increase it. Its sky blue aluminum insert perfectly complements the sunray dial in the same tone.

What is the micro-adjustment system on the Citizen Tsuyosa Shore and what is it for?

It is a mechanism in the clasp that allows small length adjustments (generally between 3 and 5 mm) after you have already adjusted the bracelet by removing or adding links.
