Timex Deepwater Watches

The Timex Deepwater collection is built for those who genuinely dive into the water: 200 or 300 meters of water resistance, tested under extreme pressure conditions. A real diver's watch, not just an aesthetic.

Deepwater: the collection designed for water

Deepwater is Timex's diver collection. It's designed for those who really get into the water: for divers, for those who snorkel or do water sports, for those who need a watch that withstands pressure and doesn't fail them when submerged. It's not a watch with a diver aesthetic. It's a real diver.

The collection has 200 metres of water resistance —and some models reach 300 metres—, designed to withstand the real pressure of being below the surface. The test isn't theoretical: some models passed extreme pressure tests at the Y-40 in Italy, the third deepest diving pool in the world, where freediver Francesco Sena descended to 42 metres with one of these watches on his wrist. A clear way of demonstrating that it's prepared for what's found down there.

And although its natural terrain is water, it's a watch that works just as well in everyday life. Many divers wear it daily, and it's not hard to understand why: it's a watch with presence, comfortable, resistant and with an aesthetic that needs no justification.

Frequently asked questions about Deepwater

Can I dive with a Deepwater?

Yes. It's a watch designed specifically for that, with 200 or 300 m of water resistance, a screw-down crown and a screw-down case back. Some models have even been tested under extreme pressure conditions. As with any dive watch, it's best to have the water resistance checked from time to time and not to operate the crown underwater.

Are Timex Deepwater watches only for diving?

No. Although they're designed for water, they're watches that work just as well outside of it. Their functions are useful in everyday life, and the diver aesthetic goes well with almost any style, so many divers wear them daily without a problem.

Is it easy to read at night or in low light?

Yes. The Deepwater models incorporate lume on the hands and indexes, designed so you can check the time in low-light conditions. It's a feature that's especially useful underwater, but also in any everyday situation where there isn't good lighting.
