Seiko's Cocktail Time collection has already accustomed us to dreamlike dials, but with the SRPE47J1 "Tequila Sunset," they went a step further. A limited edition of 5,000 units, made in Japan, with a dial that captures the sunlight as it fades between clouds and tequila.
The Dial: A Gradient Only Seiko Can Achieve
The dial features a subtle gradient that goes from a pale pink in the center to an intense salmon at the edges, like the sky just before night falls. It changes depending on the light—sometimes appearing lighter, sometimes darker, sometimes copper-toned. The indices are applied, made of polished steel with a black finish, and the hands share that classic Presage design.
