Design
The Seiko SSC939P1 stands out for its design within the SPEEDTIMER collection. The Seiko Speedtimer was a major milestone in chronograph innovation and marked the beginning of a golden decade for Speedtimers. Encased in a navy blue aluminum bezel and sapphire crystal, this chronograph features a clean-cut gray dial with hour and minute hands that resemble the original 1969 Speedtimer.
Functions
Powered by the solar-powered V192 caliber, the SSC939P1 goes beyond its visual appeal. It offers calendar and chronograph functions up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments. These features not only enhance the watch's utility but also reinforce its versatility to adapt to various situations and needs.
Details
The watch's details add a unique charm. With a chronograph seconds scale around the dial ring, this timepiece also boasts a bezel tachometer for speed measurement, an iconic element of the original Seiko Speedtimer. The anti-reflective and curved crystal significantly improves legibility, and with 12 Lumibrite points, this watch is designed to be readable in darker conditions. Finally, the 41.40 mm diameter case is made of stainless steel with a polished finish on the sides and a brushed finish on the front.
