Frequently Asked Questions About the Casio GA-100WD-1AER
This section is designed to address the most common questions about the Casio GA-100WD-1AER. Below are the most frequently asked questions along with their respective answers.
How does the quartz movement work?
The quartz movement in watches works by using a small quartz crystal that vibrates when an electric current is applied. These vibrations are generated at a constant frequency. An electronic circuit in the watch converts these vibrations into a regular electrical signal of one second, which moves the watch hands or updates the digital display to show precise time.
This quartz mechanism is very accurate, with a deviation of only a few seconds per month. Quartz watches are popular because they require less maintenance than mechanical watches and are more affordable. However, they need batteries to operate, which must be replaced periodically.
Is it suitable for water sports?
Yes, the G-SHOCK is suitable for water sports. With water resistance up to 200 meters (20 ATM) in most models, like the GA-100, it is ideal for activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and other aquatic activities. However, it is not recommended for deep diving due to water resistance limitations under extreme conditions.
What maintenance does it require?
G-SHOCK watches require minimal maintenance compared to mechanical watches. Generally, they are more affordable than automatic or mechanical watches due to their simpler construction and the abundance of quartz crystals.
Are you looking for a comfortable watch you can wear all day without discomfort?
The G-SHOCK is an excellent choice! With its lightweight design and resin case, this watch is designed to offer comfort throughout the day. Its adjustable strap easily adapts to your wrist, ensuring a perfect fit without causing discomfort. Additionally, its weight of only 72 grams makes it almost imperceptible to wear, allowing you to use it for both daily activities and sports without feeling restricted or uncomfortable.
